2025 Race Dates:

June 13th to the 17th

The Tahoe 200 is an incredible journey around the largest alpine lake in North America. The route traverses the sparkling, clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe from the Tahoe Rim Trail, occasionally detouring off the TRT to explore aspen meadows, rock gardens of giants, small impossibly blue lakes, thick canopied forests, and long ridge lines with stunning views. The route is nothing less than magical.

At this time the course for the 2025 Tahoe 200 will be considered the out and back version which is in the runner manual. However, the Forest Service will make a decision this fall on the return of the original loop course in 2025.

The decision will be based on the progress of the forest mitigation work that will be taking place throughout the summer. The sections within the Tahoe Basin are expected to be ready for 2025 while the more remote sections in the Eldorado NF are considered a lower priority and are uncertain if they will be ready.

Ultimately we will not have an answer until the fall but the Forest Service has asked us to apply for the original loop course along with the out and back course for 2025. If the Forest Service approves the original loop course this fall we will run the loop course in 2025.
